The following information is applicable to people who are fully vaccinated and traveling from the United States to Kazakhstan.View restrictions for unvaccinated travelers

Entry restricted for international travelers
Direct flights from selected countries to Kazakhstan are currently suspended.
Transit is restricted
Travelers from selected countries are not allowed to transit through Kazakhstan.
Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results
Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. The result must be issued a maximum of 72 hours before arrival in Kazakhstan. PCR test certificate must be in English, Russian or Kazakh languages.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers aged 5 years and under.
- A Pcr Test Up To 3 days Before Arrival
Mandatory proof of vaccination
Most travelers must have a vaccination certificate showing they received a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 in the Republic of Kazakhstan or in a country whose vaccination certificates are recognized by Kazakhstan. Foreign students also have an option to present a certificate/vaccination passport issued by the authorized body of their country of residence.
Travelers unable to present a valid certificate may be required to comply with rules for unvaccinated travelers.
No quarantine required
Travelers are not required to quarantine upon arrival in Kazakhstan.
Health pass may be required for public activity
Travelers may be required to download an app and provide a QR code to enter theatres, cinemas, and concert halls. The health pass consists of one of the following:
- Proof of vaccination;
- Proof of a negative COVID-19 test result.
Health screening on arrival
All travelers will have their temperature measured and be required to fill out a questionnaire on arrival.
