Description

Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR, antigen, molecular, or nucleic acid test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 3 days before departure.

More Details

This requirement does not apply to:

  • Travelers under the age of 12.

Only results from oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal samples are accepted for PCR tests. Only results from nasopharyngeal samples will be accepted for Antigen tests.

All travelers including Jamaican citizens and residents are required to complete a travel authorization form online a maximum of the 7 day period before departure to Jamaica.

More Details

A Travel Authorization is not required to book the flight. It is a requirement for check-in and boarding and the airlines will not allow passengers to board without it.

Local Guidelines

General

A national curfew is in place between the hours of 9 pm to 5 am on weekdays. The weekends, the curfew starts at 8 pm on Saturdays and at 3 pm on Sundays. Small outdoor event are limited to a maximum of 100 people and large events require approval from authorities. Preventative health measures such as frequent hand washing and social distancing are encouraged to combat further outbreaks. We recommend keeping up-to-date with official guidelines throughout your trip.
