Travel is allowed with restrictions
Most travelers are allowed to enter Iraq. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results before arrival
Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. The test must be issued a maximum of 72 hours before departure to Iraq.
Travelers to the Iraqi Kurdistan Region are required to bring a negative COVID-19 PCR test result unless they are fully vaccinated. The test must be taken a maximum of 48 hours before departure. Travelers arriving without a negative test result will be required to take a COVID-19 PCR test, at their own cost, at the Kurdistan Region airports.

Mandatory proof of vaccination
Travelers must have a valid vaccination certificate showing they have had the final dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
Travelers unable to present a valid certificate may be required to comply with rules for unvaccinated travelers.
COVID-19 test may be required on arrival
Travelers may be required to pay in cash for COVID-19 test on arrival.
No quarantine required
Travelers are not required to quarantine on arrival in Iraq.
