Travel is allowed with restrictions
Travelers are allowed to enter Venezuela. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Exiting the United Arab Emirates: Travel is allowed for vaccinated UAE citizens
Fully vaccinated UAE citizens are required to provide valid proof of vaccination before departure from the United Arab Emirates.
Citizens are considered to be fully vaccinated if one of the following applies:
- Have completed 3 doses of any approved vaccine;
- Have completed 2 doses and have recovered from COVID‑19 infection;
- Have completed 2 doses of any approved vaccine and the second dose in the last 6 months.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Non-UAE citizens;
- UAE nationals aged 18 years and under.
Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results
Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 48 hours before arrival in Venezuela.

Proof of a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test result for exit may be required
Travelers departing UAE from Abu Dhabi are required to have a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken a maximum of 72 hours before departure.
Travelers departing UAE from other airports are exempt from this requirement, but they must follow the testing rules for their destination.
Please check the restrictions, documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements for each region (Abu Dhabi-AUH, Dubai-DXB, Sharjah-SHJ) before traveling.

Mandatory COVID-19 testing on arrival
Travelers are required to take a COVID-19 PCR test on arrival at their own expense. Travelers who test positive will receive guidance from local health authorities in respect to quarantine and sanitary assistance.
No quarantine required
Travelers arriving with a valid negative COVID-19 PCR test result are not required to quarantine on arrival in Venezuela.
