Proof of negative COVID-19 test results

Description

Travelers arriving from selected countries must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. The test must be taken within 72 hours before departure to Cyprus.

Travelers exempt are:

  • children aged 11 years and younger;
  • fully vaccinated travelers with valid proof of vaccination issued by specific countries. Vaccines accepted are Pfizer/BioNTech, AstraZeneca, Moderna, Janssen, Sputnik V, and Sinopharm.
  • some travelers such as citizens and residents may take their test on arrival and they will be required to quarantine.

General

Restrictions are gradually lifting and most facilities have reopened. Social gatherings remain limited to a maximum of 20 people. A 'SafePass' may be required to enter specific places. This can be proof of vaccination after 3 weeks of the first dose, proof of recovery from COVID-19 in the previous 6 months, or proof of a negative PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours.
