Fully vaccinated travelers must have a vaccination certificate in paper or digital form. Proof of vaccination must be in German, English, French, Italian, or Spanish. Travelers must have received their last vaccine dose required no less than 14 days before the travel date. Vaccines accepted are Pfizer/Comirnaty, Johnson & Johnson/Janssen, Moderna, and AstraZeneca.

Travelers who recovered from COVID-19 will be considered fully vaccinated after receiving a single dose of the above-accepted vaccines. Travelers must show proof that they were infected with COVID-19 prior to being vaccinated.

Travelers that have received a combination of two different vaccines may still be considered fully vaccinated. Please check the link for more information on accepted vaccine combinations.

Travelers with access to the EU Digital Certificate may use it to present proof.

Travelers unable to present a valid certificate may be required to comply with rules for unvaccinated travelers.

This requirement does not apply to:

  • Travelers under the age of 12.

Travelers coming from risk areas must upload their negative test results, proof of vaccination, or proof of recovery a maximum of 48 hours before arrival via the Digital Registration on Entry travel portal.
