Description

Fully vaccinated travelers are allowed to enter Malaysia.

Travelers are only allowed to enter under the Langkawi International Tourist Bubble (LITB). Travelers entering through the LITB program must stay in Langkawi for a minimum of 3 days to enter Malaysia. After 7 days in Langkawi, travelers may travel to other destinations in the country.

Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.

  • MyTravelPass holders;

Travel must be booked with a tour operator in Malaysia who is registered and licensed with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) or through a foreign representative who uses the services of a Malaysian tour operator registered and licensed with MOTAC.

Travel packages must include:

  • Details of the tour operator, including their licence number;
  • Accommodation details;

  • Tour guide services;
  • Itinerary details.

Travelers may travel to other destinations in Malaysia after staying in Langkawi for a minimum of 7 days.

Description

Fully vaccinated travelers arriving under the Langkawi International Tourist Bubble (LITB) are not required to quarantine on arrival.

Fully vaccinated travelers with proof of recovery from COVID-19 between 11 and 60 days before departure through digital or laboratory test results are not required to quarantine on arrival. These travelers must undergo a supervised COVID-19 rapid antigen test on arrival.

Fully vaccinated travelers without proof of recovery who are not arriving under the LITB are required to quarantine for 7 days. These travelers must take a test on day 5 of their quarantine.

Fully vaccinated travelers who are nationals of Malaysia, permanent residents, or have another status in Malaysia who wish to quarantine at home may apply for approval. Travelers can add up to 10 travelers per application and should apply at least 4 to 10 days before travel.

Travelers arriving from the United Kingdom are required to complete daily COVID-19 self-tests during the quarantine period and report the results to the MySejahtera app.
