Travel is allowed with restrictions
Travelers are allowed to enter the Dominican Republic. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Before You Leave
No proof of a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test required for entry
Travelers are not required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result before traveling to the Dominican Republic.
Mandatory travel declaration form before arrival
Travelers are required to fill out an electronic entry form before arrival, which combines the Traveler’s Health Affidavit, Customs Declaration, and International Embarkation/Disembarkation forms. Once completed, it will provide a QR code that will be scanned by the authorities on arrival.
The form must be completed individually by each traveler and travelers must complete the form a maximum of 72 hours before arrival to the Dominican Republic.
Quarantine may be required
Travelers with a high temperature or with symptoms will be required to take a COVID-19 rapid test. If they test positive, they will be required to quarantine at a designated facility.
Mandatory health pass for public activity
Travelers are required to provide an identity document and evidence of COVID-19 vaccination with at least 2 doses, or a negative COVID-19 PCR test, to access public spaces, schools, businesses, restaurants, gyms, public transport, and other public areas.

Health screening on arrival
Temperature screening is required for all travelers on arrival. Travelers with a high temperature will be required to take a rapid COVID-19 test. If travelers test positive, they will be required to quarantine at a designated facility.
