The following information is applicable to people who are fully vaccinated and traveling from Sint Maarten to Bulgaria.View restrictions for unvaccinated travelers

Travel is allowed with restrictions
Travelers arriving from selected countries are allowed to enter Bulgaria. Please check the documentation, quarantine and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Transit is allowed
Travelers are allowed to transit through Bulgaria.
Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results may be required for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers with valid proof of COVID-19 vaccination and travelers with valid proof of recovery from COVID-19 are not required to have a negative COVID-19 test result before traveling to Bulgaria.
Travelers unable to present a valid certificate recognized by the Bulgarian Government will be required to comply with rules for unvaccinated travelers. Please see our Mandatory Proof of Vaccination details on accepted certificates.

Travelers are required to complete a declaration form before traveling to Bulgaria.
Mandatory proof of vaccination or proof of recovery
Travelers who are fully vaccinated must have a vaccination certificate accepted by the Bulgarian authorities. Travelers must have received all the vaccine doses required (1 or 2 doses, depending on the vaccine) at least 14 days before traveling to Bulgaria. Also accepted is a combination of 1 dose of Vaxzevria/AZD1222 with 1 of Comirnaty/BNT162b2 (Pfizer-BioNTech).

Bulgaria also accepts proof via the EU Digital Covid Certificate.
Travelers that have recovered from COVID-19 may present a document similar to the EU COVID Digital Certificate of illness instead of proof of vaccination. The document must show the traveler has suffered from COVID-19 and is valid from the 11th to the 180th day from the date of test date on the document. For more details please check the source.
Travelers not required to have a COVID-19 test result or proof of vaccination or proof of recovery are:
- Travelers under the age of 12;
- Travelers in transit through Bulgaria.

No proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results for travelers in transit
Travelers are not required to have a negative COVID-19 test result to connect through Bulgaria. Travelers must be able to guarantee their immediate departure from Bulgaria.
COVID-19 testing on arrival may be required
Travelers may be required to take a COVID-19 test on arrival in Bulgaria.
Quarantine may be required on arrival
Travelers from selected countries who travel without valid proof of a negative test result, a valid vaccination certificate, or recovery from COVID-19 must quarantine on arrival in Bulgaria for 10 days. Travelers may take a COVID-19 PCR or antigen test a maximum of 72 hours after arrival in Bulgaria and end quarantine earlier with a negative test result.
