Travel is allowed with restrictions
Travelers are allowed to enter Bhutan. Please check quarantine and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results
Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before departure to Bhutan.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Bhutanese citizens returning home.
- A Rt Pcr Test Up To 72 hours Before Departure
Mandatory health declaration form
All travelers including citizens are required to declare their health status through the health declaration form.
Mandatory proof of vaccination
Vaccinated travelers must have proof of having received all vaccine doses required.
Mandatory 14-day quarantine
Travelers are required to quarantine at a designated facility for at least 14 days. Travelers will be tested for COVID-19 at the end of their quarantine. Travelers will be allowed to leave quarantine once they test negative. If they test positive, they will be isolated.
