Travel is allowed with restrictions for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are allowed to enter Antigua and Barbuda.
Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Entry restrictions do not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 18.
Transit is allowed with restrictions
Travelers are allowed to transit through Antigua and Barbuda by air following the listed procedures.
Transit travelers are required to:
- Have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test from a nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal swab taken a maximum of 4 days before their flight to Antigua and Barbuda.
Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results
All travelers, including those in transit, must have a negative COVID-19 test result taken a maximum of 4 days before departure. The test can be an RT-PCR or an approved rapid antigen test. Only tests using nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal specimens/swabs are accepted. Home tests, self-administered tests, and those using saliva samples are not accepted.

This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 5 do not require a COVID-19 test.
- A Rt Pcr Test Up To 4 days Before Departure
- A Antigen Test Up To 4 days Before Departure
Mandatory proof of vaccination
Vaccinated travelers, including returning nationals and residents, must have proof of vaccination showing that at least 2 weeks have passed since the administration of the full vaccine dosage. Only vaccines approved by the World Health Organization or the Ministry of Health Wellness and the Environment will be accepted.
The approved vaccines are AstraZeneca, Covishield, Janssen, Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm, Sputnik V, and Sinovac. Please see the link for more information on approved vaccinations.
Travelers who have had mixed doses of vaccines of AstraZeneca vaccine with either Moderna or Pfizer vaccines will be able to enter the country.
This does not apply to:
- Travelers below the age of 18.
COVID-19 test may be required on arrival
Travelers may be required to take a COVID-19 test on arrival or at the hotel or place of lodging as determined by local health authorities.
Travelers with rapid antigen test results may be required to take an RT-PCR test on arrival at their own expense.
Mandatory stay at a certified accommodation
Fully vaccinated travelers with valid proof of vaccination and valid negative COVID-19 test results are not required to quarantine on arrival. They must stay at a certified accommodation/yacht.
Nationals and residents can stay at their place of residence.
Health screening on arrival
Temperature screening is required for all travelers on arrival.
