Entry restricted for international travelers
Travelers are not allowed to enter Macao. Some travelers may be allowed entry if they fulfill certain exemptions and have the proper documentation. For more details, please see the source.
Entry restrictions do not apply to:
- Macao residents;
- Macao Permanent residents.
Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results
Travelers who have been in selected countries in the past 21 days before traveling to Macao must have a negative COVID-19 test result. The test must be a nucleic acid test issued a maximum of 48 hours before departure to Macao.

Mandatory proof of vaccination
Travelers aged 12 and older must have a COVID-19 vaccination certificate showing they received all doses required at least 14 days before traveling to Macao.
Certificates must be issued for the purpose of international travel or recognized by the Chinese Embassies/Consulates.
Those without valid proof of vaccination must show proof that they are unfit for vaccination.
Mandatory 21-day quarantine and testing
Travelers must quarantine for 21 days and take a nucleic acid test at the end of quarantine.
