Entry restricted for international travelers
Most travelers are not allowed to enter Syria. Some international commercial flights to and from Damascus International Airport have resumed.
Entry restrictions do not apply to:
- Nationals and residents of Syria;
- Family members;
- Business travelers.
Most land borders remain closed.
Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results before exiting Sierra Leone
Departing travelers must book a test on the government online portal. The test must be a COVID-19 PCR test taken a maximum of 72 hours before departure from Sierra Leone. A negative COVID-19 PCR test result should contain a QR code.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 5;
- Travelers staying for 5 days or less.
- A Pcr Test Up To 72 hours Before Departure

Travelers may be requested to take a negative COVID-19 test before boarding.
Quarantine may be required
Travelers may be required to quarantine on arrival.
