Description

Travelers, including Singapore citizens and residents, must have a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen rapid test result. The test result must be issued a maximum of 2 days before departure to Singapore by an internationally accredited or recognized lab/clinic/medical facility and must be in English, or include an English translation.

The Ministry of Health of Singapore provides a list of approved test providers in third countries. For countries not available on the list, travelers should check with the country/region of departure’s Department of Health or Ministry of Health equivalent for approved test providers.

Mandatory health insurance

Short-term visitors applying to enter Singapore via the Air Travel Pass (ATP), Reciprocal Green Lanes (RGLs), or Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) will need to have travel insurance for their COVID-19-related medical treatment and hospitalization costs in Singapore, with a minimum coverage of S$30,000. Visitors should purchase travel insurance prior to traveling to Singapore. All short-term visitors are required to prepare an electronic or physical copy of their insurance policy to bring with them to facilitate their entry into Singapore.

Employers must buy COVID-19 medical insurance for all Work Permit, Training Work Permit, and S Pass holders entering Singapore before the workers arrive in Singapore. The insurance for business trips must meet these requirements: Covers at least $10,000 for medical expenses if the worker develops COVID-19 symptoms or tests positive a maximum of 14 days after arrival in Singapore and Covers workers on work pass in-principle approvals (IPAs).

Fully vaccinated travelers must have received a full course of vaccination with an accepted vaccine. The accepted 2 dose vaccines are Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria), Serum Institute of India (Covishield), Sinopharm, Sinovac, or Covaxin, and the accepted 1 dose vaccine is Janssen. Travelers that have received a combination of 2 accepted vaccines are considered fully vaccinated. Travelers must have received their last dose at least 14 days before departure.

Most Pakistani travelers are not allowed to travel internationally unless they have proof of vaccination. Travelers aged between 15 to 18 years are required to be fully vaccinated to travel internationally.

Travelers must have a vaccination certificate showing that they were fully vaccinated at least 14 days before departure to Pakistan.

Non-Pakistani passport holders are allowed to travel without proof of vaccination.
