Local Guidelines

General

Restrictions are gradually lifting and most facilities have reopened, although there a curfew is in place in the North of Cyprus, between the hours of midnight and 5 am. Visitors who are not fully vaccinated or have not recovered from COVID-19 in the last 180 days, will be required to take a PCR or rapid antigen test every 7 days after arrival. A 'SafePass' (EU Digital Certificate) may be required to enter specific places. This can be proof of vaccination after 3 weeks of the first dose, proof of recovery from COVID-19 in the previous 6 months, or proof of a negative PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours. Tourists without an EU Digital Certificate or proof of vaccination can apply for a 'SafePass' by undergoing PCR or antigen raid testing on day 7 after their arrival into the country, and then undergoing testing every 72 hours.
