Entry into Thailand From Guyana is Allowed with Additional Requirements

Description

Fully vaccinated travelers who have been in selected countries for at least 21 days before travel are allowed to enter some regions of Thailand. Travelers must stay in one of these regions for at least 7 days before traveling to other areas of Thailand. Travelers are not allowed to enter other regions of Thailand unless they have entered through one of the specified regions first. Please see the source for a list of regions. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.

Other travelers allowed entry are:

  • Unvaccinated travelers under the age of 18 who are traveling with their fully vaccinated parents or guardians. The minors must have a valid negative test result;
  • Unvaccinated Thai citizens and residents.

Description

Fully vaccinated travelers who have been vaccinated with a vaccine approved by Thailand's Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) or the World Health Organization (WHO), are required to quarantine for 7 days on arrival.

To be considered fully vaccinated the full course of vaccination must have been completed no less than 14 days before travel.

Travelers must present the vaccine certificate (either the original or a printed copy) upon arrival.

Travelers will be required to undergo 2 COVID-19 RT-PCR tests during their quarantine, the first on arrival and the second on days 6-7.
