Local Guidelines

General

Inter-province travel is allowed between provinces where community transmission has not been identified. Regional authorities may impose local lockdown measures if the area has a high risk of infection. Travel from the Vientiane Capital is permitted for people who can show they have been fully vaccinated at least a month before travel. Proof of vaccination may also be required to access some commercial premises in the Vientiane Capital. We recommend keeping up-to-date with official guidelines throughout your trip.
