Description

Travelers, regardless if they are fully vaccinated or not, must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. The test must be taken at an accredited lab a maximum of 3 days before arrival in Barbados. The test must be from a nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal sample.

Travelers should upload their results vis BIMSafe App or online at travelform.gov.bb and travel with a copy of their test results clearly showing the date the test was taken.

This requirement does not apply to:

  • Travelers under the age of 5 unless they are symptomatic or any member of the travel party has a positive test result.

Travelers are recommended to download the BIM safe app to complete their immigration form, upload their negative COVID-19 test results or proof of vaccination, and monitor their health for 7 days on arrival.

The BIM Safe app will be accompanied by a monitoring bracelet which must be worn during the quarantine period. Travelers will receive the monitoring bracelet on arrival in Barbados.

While restrictions are gradually lifting, a curfew remains in place for Thursdays to Sundays exclusively from midnight to 5 am. Beaches and parks are open daily from 5am to 7pm for recreation activities and exercise only, parties are picnics are not permitted.
