Description

Travelers who are fully vaccinated must present a vaccination certificate/card/passport (including a pdf from an electronic vaccine passport, either on your phone or as a hard copy) in German or English. Travelers who do not have proof of vaccination in German or English must use the provided official health certificate in either language to certify vaccination.

Travelers have the option to present proof via EU Digital Certificate.

Travelers are considered fully vaccinated on the 22nd day after their first dose, lasting for 90 days. After the second dose, the validity extends for another 270 days. Vaccines that only require one dose are valid from the 22nd day after that dose and for 270 days from the vaccination date. The following vaccines are recognized: BioNtech/Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Sinovac, and Sinopharm.

General

Restrictions are gradually lifting but entry testing is required to enter most establishments, facilities, and events. Individuals must present one of the following tests, a self-test taken within 24 hours, an antigen test taken with 48 hours, or a PCR test taken within 72 hours. Testing requirements do no apply to those who are vaccinated or those have recovered from COVID-19 within the passed 6 months. Limits to social gatherings remain in place. Between the hours of 5 am and 10 pm, gatherings are limited to a maximum of 10 people outdoors and 4 people indoors. Between 10 pm and 5 am, a maximum of 4 people can gather in any setting.
