Before You Leave
No proof of a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test required
Travelers are not required to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result to enter Vatican City. Italy travel restrictions apply to international travelers.
Mandatory travel declaration form before exiting the Dominican Republic
Travelers are required to fill out an electronic entry form before departure, which combines the Traveler’s Health Affidavit, Customs Declaration, and International Embarkation/Disembarkation forms. The form must be completed individually by each traveler and, once completed, it will provide a QR code that will be scanned by the authorities before departure.

No quarantine required
Travelers are not required to quarantine upon arrival in Vatican City. Travelers may only enter through Rome so Italy's travel restrictions apply.
