  • 7 days after the last dose is received of a 2 dose vaccine (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca);
  • 28 days after 1 dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson);
  • 7 days after receiving 1 dose of a vaccine in travelers who have already had a history of Covid-19.

Travelers over the age of 17 must have a health pass to travel in France by plane, train, and coach for long-distance journeys, and to enjoy public places such as cafes, restaurants, shopping centers, and places of leisure, and culture.

Fully vaccinated travelers who have been vaccinated outside of the EU can request a certificate of vaccine equivalence. The request for a certificate of vaccine equivalence can be made directly at the pharmacy. The cost of the certificate is €36.

Travelers must present their passport and the original vaccination certificate in hard copy.

Effective January 15th, 2022, all travelers aged between 18 to 65, must provide proof of a booster dose between 5 to 7 months after their last dose to keep their COVID certificate active.
