Travelers allowed entry are:

  • Caymanians;
  • Persons who are legally resident in the Cayman Islands, including permanent residents and work permit holders and their families;
  • Children of Caymanians and residents, who are traveling with that Caymanian or resident;
  • Travelers aged 12 years and older and have had a full course of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Fully vaccinated travelers must provide proof that they have completed a full course of vaccination against COVID-19 at least 14 days before boarding. Travelers are required to present a "secure verification" record, which is is a vaccination record with security features such as a QR code.

Travelers must be vaccinated against COVID-19 at least 14 days before arrival to the Cayman Islands with one of the listed vaccines: Janssen (Johnson & Johnson, single dose), Moderna, Oxford/AstraZeneca, European Version, SK Bio Version, Serum Institute of India version ‘Covishield’, Pfizer-BioNTech, Sinopharm, Sinovac.

Description

Fully vaccinated travelers who have securely verifiable proof of vaccination are not required to quarantine. These travelers are required to take lateral flow tests (LFT) on days 2, 5, and 10 after their arrival.

Fully vaccinated travelers, and non-securely verifiable fully vaccinated travelers who are traveling from a country with vaccination rates that are over 60% for the first dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine are not required to quarantine. These travelers are required to take lateral flow tests (LFT) on days 2, 5, and 10 after their arrival.

Fully vaccinated travelers who do not have securely verifiable proof of vaccination traveling from a country with a vaccination rate less than 60% for the first dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine, are required to quarantine for 10 days. These travelers must take a COVID-19 PCR test on day 11 and can leave quarantine with a negative result.

Fully vaccinated travelers who are traveling with unvaccinated travelers (including children) are required to quarantine for 14 days. These travelers must take a COVID-19 PCR test on day 15 to exit quarantine.

Travelers may not leave the Cayman Islands until the mandatory period in quarantine has been completed.
