The following information is applicable to people who are fully vaccinated and traveling from Colombia to Taiwan.View restrictions for unvaccinated travelers

Entry restricted for international travelers
Most international travelers are not allowed to enter Taiwan. Travelers can apply for a special entry permit at the Taipei Representative Office (TRO) in the country from which they plan to travel but travel for tourism and regular social visits will not be allowed.
Entry restrictions do not apply to:
- Residents of Taiwan;
- Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) holders;
- Alien Permanent Resident Certificate (APRC) holders;
- For diplomatic or official business;
- To fulfill contractual obligations;
- For special humanitarian reasons;
- The spouse, or the underage child of a R.O.C. (Taiwan) national:
- Students, professors, and researchers.
Transit is restricted
Travelers are not allowed to transit through Taiwan.
Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results
All travelers, including those in transit, must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result. The result must be issued a maximum of 2 days before boarding their flight. The certificate should be in English or Chinese.
The 2-day period means 2 calendar days and is counted from the "specimen collection date”. Travelers who fail to comply will be fined NT$10,000 to NT$150,000.
Travelers may be exempt from the requirement if:
- Traveling for emergency reasons;
- Traveling from a country where testing is not available;
- Travelers under the age of 7 may be eligible to take a self-paid COVID-19 test in Taiwan. They must also sign the entry quarantine affidavit and provide verifying documents. Please see the source for more details. Special permission from Taiwan government agencies is required.

Mandatory pre-registration form before exiting Colombia
All travelers are required to fill out a pre-registration form before they depart from Colombia. It must be filled at least 1 hour, up to 72 hours before departure.
Travelers will be required to show confirmation of registration before boarding.
Mandatory accommodation booking
Travelers must also provide proof of the place of quarantine to enter Taiwan. The place shall be a quarantine hotel, or government quarantine facility.
Those who choose to quarantine at home shall fill an online affidavit form to declare they have met the requirement of one person per residence.
Mandatory health declaration form
All travelers are required to fill out a health declaration form 48 hours before their arrival in Taiwan. This form can be completed in writing or online.
Mandatory COVID-19 test on arrival
Travelers arriving on long-haul flights from the Americas, Europe, India, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, New Zealand, and Australia are required to take a government-funded rapid RT-PCR test on arrival. Travelers who test negative will be allowed to proceed with entering the country. Travelers who test positive will be taken to a designated hospital.
Any traveler presenting COVID-19 symptoms will be required to take a COVID-19 test on arrival.
Mandatory 14-day quarantine for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are required to quarantine for 7 days on arrival at quarantine hotels or stay at group quarantine facilities, followed by a 7 day self-isolation period.
Travelers are required to take a COVID-19 PCR test on arrival at the airport, and a second test on day 6. A third test will be required at the end of the quarantine period. The second and third tests will be arranged by local authorities to be administered at a local hospital. Additionally, rapid self-administered antigen tests will also be required during the 7-day home quarantine, and travelers should voluntarily report their test result back via text message.

Health pass for public activity may be required
Travelers are required to present a valid record of vaccination in order to access some leisure and entertainment venues, such as bars, pubs, beauty parlours, saunas, and nightclubs. Valid proof of vaccination must also be shown to access hospitals and residential long-term care facilities.
The record must show that two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine were received at least 14 days before entering the venue, and can be shown via a paper vaccination card, Digital COVID-19 Certificate, or digital record shown on the NHI Express App for verification.
