Fully vaccinated travelers must upload official proof of the vaccination status (national vaccination card) in EHAS.

Travelers are considered to be fully vaccinated if it has passed 2 weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series, such as the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines, or 2 weeks after a single-dose vaccine, such as Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccine.

The approved vaccines are Comirnaty (Pfizer), Moderna, Vaxzevria (AstraZeneca), and Johnson & Johnson (Janssen).

Travelers including citizens, residents, and transit travelers are required to complete health authorization applications through the Electronic Health Authorization System in order to enter St. Maarten.

Travelers are encouraged to complete the application as soon as they receive their COVID-19 RT-PCR test results. Once completed and approved travelers will receive a printable authorization by email.

Proof of negative COVID-19 test results

Travelers who are residents in Sint Maarten, Sint Martin, Saba, Sint Eustatius, and who have been in selected countries in the last 14 days must have and upload a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR swab test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before departure of the last leg of the flight to Sint Maarten.

This requirement does not apply to:

  • Travelers under the age of 10.

The test result should clearly specify the name of the laboratory, test subject name, test date, type of test administered, and how the test sample was obtained.
