The following information is applicable to people who are fully vaccinated and traveling from Colombia to Rwanda.View restrictions for unvaccinated travelers

Travel is allowed with restrictions
Travelers are allowed to enter Rwanda by air. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Transit is allowed with restrictions
Travelers are allowed to transit through Rwanda. Travelers over the age of 5, must have a COVID-19 RT-PCR test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before departure.
Travelers transiting for more than 12 hours must take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test on arrival and wait at a transit hotel for their test results.
Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results before arrival
Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 72 hours before departure of their first flight to Rwanda.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Accompanied children under the age of 5.
- A Rt Pcr Test Up To 72 hours
Mandatory pre-registration form before exiting Colombia
All travelers are required to fill out a pre-registration form before they depart from Colombia. It must be filled at least 1 hour, up to 72 hours before departure.
Travelers will be required to show confirmation of registration before boarding.
Mandatory passenger locator form
Travelers are required to fill a passenger locator form, and upload a negative COVID-19 test result to the form, before departure for Rwanda.
Recommended travel insurance
International travelers are recommended to have travel insurance with COVID-19 coverage.
Mandatory COVID-19 test on arrival
Travelers arriving in Rwanda or transiting for more than 12 hours must take an RT-PCR test on arrival and wait for their results at a transit hotel.
Travelers with positive test results must quarantine.
Mandatory quarantine and testing
Travelers must quarantine for 24 hours at a designated hotel while waiting for their on arrival PCR results at their own cost. Travelers must take an additional PCR test on day 3 at their own cost at a designated testing site (Camp Kigali or nearest Provincial or District Hospitals for those out of the City of Kigali).
