Travel is allowed with restrictions
Travelers are allowed to enter Jamaica. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results
Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR, antigen, molecular, or nucleic acid test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 3 days before departure.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 12.
Only results from oropharyngeal and nasopharyngeal samples are accepted for PCR tests. Only results from nasopharyngeal samples will be accepted for Antigen tests.

Mandatory pre-registration form before exiting Colombia
All travelers are required to fill out a pre-registration form before they depart from Colombia. It must be filled at least 1 hour, up to 72 hours before departure.
Travelers will be required to show confirmation of registration before boarding.
Mandatory travel authorization form
All travelers including Jamaican citizens and residents are required to complete a travel authorization form online a maximum of the 7 day period before departure to Jamaica.
A Travel Authorization is not required to book the flight. It is a requirement for check-in and boarding and the airlines will not allow passengers to board without it.
Each traveler must have their own form (including minors and infants). Travelers may also apply for other family members’ Travel Authorization but must indicate that they are applying for "Someone Else" at the appropriate stage in the application process.
COVID-19 test may be required on arrival
Travelers may be required to be tested for COVID-19 on arrival if they present symptoms. If tested, travelers must wait in their hotel room for the results.
Unvaccinated business travelers must take a COVID-19 test on arrival at the airport.
No quarantine required for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are not required to quarantine on arrival in Jamaica.
Travelers who stay within the resilient travel corridor program are not required to quarantine, regardless of vaccination status.
Fully vaccinated travelers who arrive without a valid negative COVID-19 test result must quarantine until they provide a negative test result or for 8 days from arrival.
Health screening on arrival
All travelers will be screened via thermal temperature checks and symptom observation. If a traveler's temperature is elevated, the visitor will be subject to additional screening, including testing if needed. Any travelers who exhibit symptoms, or are ill will be subject to quarantine.
Travelers will be subject to testing if they are assessed as high risk as a result of coming from countries designated as high risk for COVID-19 transmission.
