Travelers are required to have valid health insurance with COVID-19 coverage purchased from a company registered in Ukraine or a foreign company that has a representative office or an insurance partner in Ukraine.

More Details

This requirement does not apply to:

  • Ukraine citizens and residents;
  • Travelers in transit who do not leave the transit zone of the airport;
  • Foreigners permanently residing in Ukraine, diplomats accredited to Ukraine, refugees, plane or ship crews, and NATO personnel training the Ukrainian military.

Mandatory proof of vaccination

Description

Vaccinated travelers must present receipt of at least 1 dose of vaccination against COVID-19 with vaccines included by WHO in the list approved for use in emergency situations.

Vaccines currently included: Pfizer/BioNTech, Johnson & Johnson's Janssen, AstraZeneca/Covishield (India), AstraZeneca/SKBio (South Korea), Moderna/Spikevax, Sinopharm (Vero Cell), CoronaVac (Sinovac).

Travelers with access to the EU Digital Certificate may use it to present proof.

Travelers unable to present a valid certificate may be required to comply with rules for unvaccinated travelers.

This requirement does not apply to:

  • Travelers in transit who do not leave the transit zone of the airport;
  • Travelers under the age of 12.

  • Confirmation of at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine (vaccination certificates, EU COVID Certificate, international certificates should be used);
  • Proof of recovery from COVID-19, in the form of a COVID certificate;
  • Negative result of PCR test or rapid antigen test taken in a maximum of 72 hours before entry.
