Entry restrictions do not apply to:

  • Polish nationals and residents;
  • European Union nationals, and nationals and residents of exempt countries (EFTA, EEA, Switzerland, Georgia, Japan, Canada, New Zealand, Thailand, South Korea, Tunisia, Australia, Israel, United Kingdom, United States, Ukraine, Belarus, Turkey);
  • Foreigners who are spouses or children of citizens of the Republic of Poland or EU citizens or who remain under permanent care of citizens of the Republic of Poland;
  • Holders of the Pole’s Card;
  • Diplomats;
  • Persons who have the right of permanent or temporary residence in the Republic of Poland or a work permit in particularly justified cases;
  • Students.

Description

Vaccinated travelers arriving in Poland must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR or antigen test result issued a maximum of 24 hours before arrival in Poland.

Fully vaccinated travelers might be able to take a COVID-19 test on arrival at some airports in Poland instead of the pre-departure COVID-19 test, but only if airports have the approved facilities. Travelers are encouraged to verify this information on the website of the airport they are flying to, and check with their airline directly for acceptance of this exemption.

Description

Travelers who are fully vaccinated must present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate. Travelers are considered fully vaccinated once 14 days have passed since they completed the vaccination process for an EU-approved vaccine.

Travelers unable to present a valid certificate may be required to comply with rules for unvaccinated travelers.

Travelers have the option to present proof via EU Digital Certificate.

Description

Vaccinated travelers arriving without a negative pre-travel COVID 19 test result are required to quarantine for 14 days on arrival in Poland. Travelers may end their quarantine earlier by supplying a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test on day 8 after arrival. Vaccinated travelers showing a negative pre-travel COVID-19 test on arrival are not required to quarantine.

Children up to 12 years of age crossing internal borders are exempt from quarantine if they travel under the care of adults who are vaccinated against COVID-19 or who have a negative COVID-19 test taken a maximum of 48 hours before crossing the border.
