Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results for vaccinated travelers

Description

Fully vaccinated travelers must have a negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test result. The test can be a PCR test taken a maximum of 48 hours before departure or a rapid antigen test taken a maximum of 24 hours before departure to Lebanon.

Travelers must upload the COVID-19 PCR result to the MOPH platform, which will generate a unique QR code that will be sent via text message. The QR code must be presented at the time of check-in and on arrival at Beirut airport.

Mandatory proof of vaccination

Description

Vaccinated travelers must have proof of COVID-19 vaccination. The approved vaccines are Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Sputnik, Moderna, Johnson and Johnson, Sinovac, and Covovax.

Vaccinated travelers must have received all required doses for a complete course of vaccination at least 2 weeks before departure to Lebanon. The most recent dose must have been taken within 6 months of departure to Lebanon to be considered fully vaccinated.

Vaccinated travelers are required to upload a copy of their vaccination certificate during their MOPH pass application.

Travelers are required to quarantine on arrival in Lebanon until they receive results from a COVID-19 test on arrival. This should arrive in a maximum of 24 hours via text message. If the result is negative, travelers may end quarantine. If the result is positive, travelers must immediately call the COVID-19 hotline on 1787 unless contacted by the MoPH.
