Travelers are allowed to enter Tanzania. Please check the documentation, quarantine and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results
Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR or NAAT test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 96 hours before arrival to Tanzania.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers in transit;
- Travelers aged 5 years and under.
- A Rt Pcr Test Up To 96 hours Before Arrival
- A Nucleic Acid Test Up To 96 hours Before Arrival
Mandatory health surveillance form for Tanzania Mainland
Travelers are required to complete an online Health Surveillance Form a maximum of 24 hours before arrival in Tanzania. Travelers will then receive a Unique Health Code (UHC), which they will present to health officials upon arrival.
Mandatory health surveillance form for Zanzibar
Travelers are required to complete an online Health Surveillance Form a maximum of 24 hours before arrival in Zanzibar. Travelers will then receive a Unique Health Code (UHC), which they will present to health officials upon arrival.
No quarantine required
Travelers are not required to quarantine upon arrival in Tanzania.
Health screening on arrival
Temperature and health screening are required for all travelers on arrival in Tanzania.
