Travel is allowed for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers with valid proof of vaccination are allowed to enter Georgia.
Partially vaccinated travelers with proof of recovery are also allowed to enter Georgia. These travelers must have a positive COVID-19 PCR test result from a test taken a maximum of 100 days before departure, and must also have at least 1 dose of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) for emergency use.
Transit is allowed for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are allowed to transit through Georgia.
Before You Leave
No proof of pre-departure COVID-19 test results for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers arriving by air are not required to have a negative COVID-19 test result to enter Georgia. This also applies to travelers who recovered from COVID-19 and were vaccinated with a single dose.
Travelers arriving by land and sea must have a COVID-19 PCR test result from a test taken a maximum of 72 hours before arrival.
Mandatory proof of vaccination
Vaccinated travelers must have a vaccination certificate showing they received all the doses required at least 14 days before travel.
Partially vaccinated travelers with proof of recovery and at least 1 dose of a vaccination approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) for emergency use are also considered vaccinated. These travelers must have a positive COVID-19 PCR test result from a test taken a maximum of 100 days before departure.
Travelers unable to present valid proof of vaccination may be required to comply with the rules for unvaccinated travelers.
No quarantine required
Travelers who do not have a travel history in selected countries in the past 14 days before arrival are not required to quarantine on arrival in Georgia.
Mandatory health pass for public activity
Travelers are required to have a "green passport" to enter various businesses and public spaces. Travelers with a green status must be able to present one of the following:
- Valid proof of vaccination certificate;
- Valid proof of recovery from COVID-19;
- Valid negative COVID-19 PCR test result, taken in a maximum of 72 hours, or a negative COVID-19 antigen test result, taken in a maximum of 24 hours before entering some places.
Travelers may display proof using the QR issued from registering on the COVID Passport website, or with the QR code, in digital or paper format, received from vaccination centers, clinics, and Public Service Halls of Georgia. The EU Digital COVID Certificate is also accepted to display proof.
