Travel is allowed with restrictions
Travelers can enter Gabon by air. Please check the documentation, quarantine, and/or testing requirements before traveling.
Land and sea borders are closed.
Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results
Travelers must have a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 3 days before departure.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers under the age of 6.
- A Rt Pcr Test Up To 3 days Before Departure
Mandatory proof of vaccination
Fully vaccinated travelers must have a valid vaccination certificate demonstrating they have received all doses of a COVID-19 vaccine.
United Kingdom’s proof of COVID-19 recovery and vaccination record is also accepted in Gabon.
Mandatory COVID-19 test on arrival
Travelers are required to take a COVID-19 RT-PCR test at the airport on arrival at their own expense.

Masks are mandatory in public
Travelers must wear masks in public places including on public transportation.
Mandatory health pass for public activity
Travelers are required to present a health pass before visiting restaurants and bars. The health pass consists of one of the following:
- Proof of vaccination;
- Proof of negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test results not older than 14 days.
