The following information is applicable to people who are fully vaccinated and traveling from Afghanistan to Fiji.View restrictions for unvaccinated travelers

Entry restricted for international traveler
Travelers from selected countries are not allowed to enter Fiji. Travelers wanting to enter Fiji must apply for an entry approval. Fijian passport holders must contact Border Control before traveling.
Transit is allowed with restrictions for vaccinated travelers
Fully vaccinated travelers are allowed to transit through Fiji. Transit travelers must have:
- Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination accepted by the Fijian government;
- a negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid antigen test results to enter their final destination.
Travelers transiting in Fiji for more than 10 hours must quarantine in Fiji until their next flight departure.
Before You Leave
Proof of negative pre-departure COVID-19 test results
Travelers from selected countries must have a negative COVID-19 PCR test result. The test must be taken a maximum of 3 days before the day of departure.
PCR tests are to be performed by nasopharyngeal, nasal, or mid-turbinate specimen collection methods.
This applies to all travelers, including those transiting through Fiji.
This requirement does not apply to:
- Travelers who tested positive for COVID-19 a maximum of 90 days before travel to Fiji, as long as they provide proof of the isolation period served from a credible institution or produce a fit to fly certificate from a medical practitioner;
- Travelers under the age of 6.
- A Rt Pcr Test Up To 3 days
Mandatory accommodation booking
Travelers from selected countries are required to have proof of pre-paid accommodation at a Fiji Managed Quarantine facility for a minimum of 14 nights .
Mandatory proof of vaccination
Fully vaccinated travelers going to Fiji must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination demonstrating the full course of vaccination with AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, or Johnson and Johnson. Required doses must have been received at least 14 days before travel.
Travelers under 18 years of age are exempted as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian who is vaccinated. Vaccinated minors below the age of 18 may travel unaccompanied, observing all international travel protocols.
Travelers unable to provide valid proof of vaccination may be required to follow the rules for unvaccinated travelers.
Mandatory health insurance
Travelers must have medical travel insurance, with international coverage that covers COVID-19 before traveling to Fiji. Travelers with existing insurance must present evidence of the cover not excluding COVID-19.
This does not apply to:
- Fijian passport holders;
- Valid permit holders who provide a supporting letter from their sponsor/employer to meet all COVID related costs, including extended quarantine if required
Mandatory COVID-19 test on arrival
Travelers from selected countries must take a COVID-19 test on arrival.
Mandatory 14-day quarantine and testing
Travelers from selected countries must quarantine for 14 days on arrival in Fiji at a Managed Quarantine Facility at their own cost. They must take a COVID-19 test at the end of quarantine.

Travelers must download Fiji’s contact tracing mobile application, careFIJI and keep the device Bluetooth turned on at all times during their stay.
